David O'Keefe-Native Americans Discovered The Americas

According to the book The Native Population of the Americas in 1492 the native population before colonialization was, "to be as high as 112 million." Currently the United States has over 300 million people according to the US Census. It is crazy to me that there are only 5 million Native Americans in the United States today. This is important because no matter where any European would have landed, they would have ran into an Native American.
