History of Catholicism in France

My first source in this block explains the Catholic religion and how popular it was in 13th century France. It also explains how the church came to own the land and survived two wars, one of which being WW2 where Catholics were being targeted.

My next source in this block is a Twitter post about how the Rose Windows were removed during WW2 so that they would not be destroyed. The Catholic religion was being targeted and because the windows depic the Catholic religion the church had them removed and hidden to protect the symbol of the religion.
