This source contributes to my thesis by providing a graph with statistical information showing that as the population of England decreased from 1348 to 1445 from the Black Death, the per capita GDP greatly increased which was from around 110 to around 170 per capita GDP.

How These Sources Support My Thesis

All four of these sources support my thesis because they all are related to the economy changing as a result of the Black Death. The Ordinance of Laborers was passed because the wages were getting too high in England because of the shortage of workers in England, and Edward III was trying to stop that. The prices of services went up and wages went up because there was not enough people providing those services and able to work jobs that required certain skills because the Black Death killed indiscriminately which meant skilled workers could be killed. The overall wages of people were rising because the Black Death killed so many people that it reduced the competition for work. The per capita GDP has a relationship with the population of England in that if the population of England decreases, then the per capita GDP increases. The Black Death greatly reduced the population of England which in turn greatly increased the per capita GDP of England.
