Audacity and Stream Podcast Recording
1. Audacity
To start recording with Audacity, press the red circle.
2. To stop recording, press the black square.
3. You can share your recorded podcast in two ways.
- Export as MP3 to your computer and save to your google drive or office 365 account.
OR
4. Save your mp3 file as your name.
After this page you will be prompted to add metadata. Add as you wish.
Then upload it to your Office 365 account or Google Drive.
5. 2. Share audio
This will upload your file to audio.com.
NOTE: While your file will be unpublished on audio.com, their privacy policy does not gurantee you full rights to your audio.
6. If you upload to Audio.com they’ll prompt you to continue
7. Click continue
8. Ignore the invitation to create an account unless you want to manage your audio.
NOTE: without an account, you cannot edit your audio. If you lose your link to your audio, you’ll need to re-share the file from Audacity.
9. Copy the URL to your Assignment file.
10. Stream instructions
Login to Office 365 and select “Apps” on the left-hand side.
11. Chose “all apps”
12. Select Stream
On the next page select “+ New Recording”
13. Choose “Options”
14. Select “Mic Only”
15. Record by clicking the circle.
16. Stop by click the round cirlce again.
17. Click Next
18. Click Publish
19. Share your file
20. Select Share
21. Add my email jack.norton@normandal.edu
22. Copy link
23. Copy link to your Assignment file
