Welcome to the Bryant Avenue Project. Your final project for this class will contribute to a multi-year original research project that tells the history of Minnesota through the story of one street: Bryant Avenue. Bryant Avenue runs from present day Bloomington, through Richfield, Minneapolis, Brooklyn Center and then ends in Brooklyn Park.
Our project will center on the themes of home and education. Bryant Avenue currently touches at least seven different schools in the K-12 system has included other schools over its history.
As this is just the beginning of the project, your contribution will be more open ended. That is, you can pursue any topic or research sources that directly relate to education or home on Bryant avenue. Your research topic must touch Bryant Avenue.
