<p><span style="font-weight:400;">I choose two different pieces of art and while they are not exactly from the same time period they are from the past. I also think that while on is a plate and one is jewelry they still have a lot in common with what they are saying about everyday life in those periods. The plate is very emaculate a decorated to perfection which shows that the plate was not just for serving food. It served a high purpose in the house as a decoration. I think it shows that if you have money you buy things that are not needed. No one needs a plate like that unless they have the extra money. I think the jewelry shows the same thing. These prices are so pretty and I think they were worn by people who are higher up in society, but that is just a guess. I truly think the items people had in the past showed how rich you are/how high up in the social system you are. What this shows about everyday life is that people enjoyed luxury if they could afford it. </span></p></text>

Both of the gold jewelry pieces tell us the hard and detailed work that the people did in that period as well as how humans were important aspects in art. First, these pieces of gold jewelry represent hard work because the pieces are very intricate and extremely detailed, which simply shows they put in days of tedious work. While looking at the “Gold earrings with disk and boat-shaped pendant”, one can see the intricate designs, flowers, and figure that represents Nike who is a figure that stands for victory and how he is driving two horses. There is also many seed like objects dangling from the top of the earring which contain small pearl like beads on them. Furthermore, in the “Gold earring with winged figure”, one can notice the twisted gold with the figure that also contains detailed flowers. Moving on, these elaborate pieces of jewelry both display humans in them which tells us the importance of human figures in that period of time. Since they worshiped Gods and figures, they incorporated those into their jewelry to remind them of those so that they were with them wherever they went. I would like to learn how people created these elaborate pieces of jewelry.</text>

A tiny figure of Nike (the personification of victory) driving two horses is set amid the floral design above the boat-shaped forms on these extraordinarily elaborate earrings."

Both of the gold jewelry pieces tell us the hard and detailed work that the people did in that period as well as how humans were important aspects in art. First, these pieces of gold jewelry represent hard work because the pieces are very intricate and extremely detailed, which simply shows they put in days of tedious work. While looking at the “Gold earrings with disk and boat-shaped pendant”, one can see the intricate designs, flowers, and figures that represents Nike who is a figure that stands for victory and how he is driving two horses. There is also many seed like objects dangling from the top of the earring which contain small pearl like beads on them. Furthermore, in the “Gold earring with winged figure”, one can notice the twisted gold with the figure that also contains detailed flowers. The details that both these pieces of jewelry represent show the time and effort that it took to make them. Moving on, these elaborate pieces of jewelry both display humans in them which tells us the importance of human figures in that period of time. Since they worshiped Gods and figures, they incorporated those into their jewelry to remind them of those so that they were with them wherever they went and whenever they wore that specific type of jewelry . I would like to learn how people created these elaborate pieces of jewelry.
