<text>What do your two objects tell us about everyday life in the period you've selected?

I choose two different pieces of art and while they are not exactly from the same time period they are from the past. I also think that while on is a plate and one is jewelry they still have a lot in common with what they are saying about everyday life in those periods. The plate is very emaculate a decorated to perfection which shows that the plate was not just for serving food. It served a high purpose in the house as a decoration. I think it shows that if you have money you buy things that are not needed. No one needs a plate like that unless they have the extra money. I think the jewelry shows the same thing. These prices are so pretty and I think they were worn by people who are higher up in society, but that is just a guess. I truly think the items people had in the past showed how rich you are/how high up in the social system you are. What this shows about everyday life is that people enjoyed luxury if they could afford it.
</text>
