Title
Terracotta Volute-Krater
Subject
Classical period pottery art
Description
"H. 25 in. (63.5 cm)" from the Metropolitan Museum of Art
When looking at the pottery you can see humans fighting in a war. These people must have been in service to higher powers. This warrior class must have been taken from their families to fight wars that they may never return from. This will affect the income of the families these men were taken from. With wars the conquerors take away belongings of those they conquered which would assure that there would be a class with much less and most likely living in poverty.
